Curtain catch retro car
A cute machine cut out of a plywood sheet will not only replace the catch for curtains, but will also become a wonderful element in the decor of a children's room. This cute machine is cut from a sheet of plywood (6 - 8 mm thick) according to a previously applied pattern, using an ordinary or electric jigsaw.
If the jigsaw is ordinary, then before starting work in the places of cutting, several holes are made for it with a drill. Next, you need to file the edges of our workpiece with a file or large sandpaper, then prepare it for painting, lightly scrubbing it with a fine sandpaper and applying a primer for wood (such as acrylic) or PVA glue (in a 1: 2 ratio with water). After the primer dries, the product is painted with acrylic paints, and after drying, it is advisable to apply the final protective layer of acrylic varnish.
A similar decor for fixing curtains can be made in a variety of styles and with a wide variety of subjects, both in the form of some kind of funny objects, and in the form of flowers or animals. When choosing a form, it is very important to take into account the location of the slots for passing the curtains - this part should not be dominant - therefore, horizontally centered forms where the main decor falls on the side parts of the product, or vertically elongated, will be most successful.
